AlarmVR
I assisted in the development of an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in VR to study the effects of alarm fatigue, a persistent audiation problem that can have devastating consequences. You can read the description of the project here. I worked to develop a sound design tool that could be used in VR using libpd, a PureData shell for Unity, and designed aspects of the ICU using Blender. This project is still ongoing so much of the documentation is still private, but I’m happy to provide more if you send me an email at snh345(at)nyu(dot) edu .
